Burgers are good, but not our favorites in Kona. The macadamia nut burger was a little dry and didn’t taste much like macadamia. Fries are super good! When we went, they only had 2 tables inside. They do have gluten free buns but they’re 3.50! The garden burger is vegetarian and good.

Oh. So. Good. Traveling with Celiac is so challenging and Foster’s Kitchen removed that stress! The food was just delicious and the service was phenomenal! The owner or manager (not sure which) wanted to show me the safety of their kitchen for preparing my food. The kitchen has windows you can look right in at! Thy kitchen was immaculate! The cook was making the delicious fries as I watched. Plenty of choices for someone who has a dietary restriction. The owner/manager was so knowledgeable about it and they have a great protocol. I actually ate here twice during my stay. Darling place!!! It is just adorable down to every detail. Beautiful view.

I’ve eaten there three times. Food was good. Two times a Taro Burger with mushrooms and cheese and once Hawaiian pizza. Everything is vegetarian here (or maybe even vegan?). I recommend both options. They also provide you with free drinking water but you have to have your own bottle for the refill. cons: - Service could be better. You usually have to wait some time at the food truck window until they will be able to take an order. I felt ignored by them every time. - They have gluten-free bun option for burger in the menu, but they never had it. Not even once. - I saw a delivery guy and he brought the pack of Beyond burgers. I really like them but the restaurant does not tell that they use Beyond for their burgers. I would think that they make “meatless” burgers themselves. That’s only my assumption because I’ve eaten Taro burger which was great!

I have celiac disease and a wheat allergy the server was extremely knowledgeable to help guide me with the menu. The rest of our party is not gluten free and we all had an amazing meal. I can't say enough good things about this place . It's definitely a must try.
